A support crew is absolutely vital to the success of any ultra-marathon cycling event such as this. And the right support crew is equally important to its success. Arvid has usually had the privilege of having some/all of his kids involved in his support crew. This has made for many memorable moments. However, this time, two of the couples are at home looking after their babies. They will be following his progress from home.
We are thrilled with the support crew that has come together for Hot Pursuit 2010. The crew consists of Ron (the only member who will be there for the entire distance), Juergen, Bettie & Henry B, Ruth, Paul & Jeanette, and Henry P. Juergen and Ron (one vehicle) will support Arvid for the Abbotsford to Calgary stretch. The rest of us will join the crew in Calgary and be involved in the Calgary to Winnipeg portion, as at that point, we will have two vehicles on the road.
Thank you to all of you for your enthusiasm and willingness to be involved in Hot Pursuit. It is going to be great. And best of all, the children at Mully Children's Family will benefit from our efforts!
